Green!!

SPRING TIME ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!! Windows open, music up, hair int he wind, the smell of....city! Makes me wish I was back home on the farm. The smell of new life, grass, and the site of new life all over the farm!! Farm life tops all!!

The Seed Has Died

It's true....life comes from death. Flowers sprout from a dead seed...New stars light up after another star falls....and all those other sayings!! Today.....death happens. Well it's not that dramatic, but today is my final day as a booking agent at Bridge Street Artist Agency. For those of you who haven't read any of my other blogs, I have accepted a new assistant booking position at Greg Oliver Agency (www.goa-inc.com). My new life there will begin Monday April 18th!! I will transfer out of the Indie/Underground Rock scene into the Adult Contemporary/Young Christian Rock scene! This transition is completely God-led and I feel 100% confident that this is all apart of the direction He has placed in my life! I was talking with both GOA and Third Coast Artist Agency.....but the Lord worked it out for me to be at GOA!! Praise the Lord! His will and way are always amazing...even in small situations like switching jobs. Hope and Peace!!

Video Girl...You Must Be Kiddin' Me Girl!!

Yes, this Friday I get to be a video girl! Or maybe just a stand-in bass player....but I'm am still in a music video!!! One of our artists at BSAA, Lee Hester, has been chosen by MTSU for a music video project. MTSU's video school chose Lee from all the local indie artists in Nashville!! But Lee Hester isn't just some unknown bar-hopper. You can check out his stuff at www.leehester.com. Lee has had his songs played on Dawson's Creek, Party of Five, and Joan of Arcadia!! His song "Dawn" will be featured this Friday (Apr.8) on the season finale of Joan of Arcadia (8p.m.)!! And after his bass player backed out of the video.....I am his replacement!! We will be shooting from 1 p.m. till 1 a.m. Friday!!! They are doing full make-up, hair, costume, etc......(not so thrilled about the make-up?) I'm sure the video will never hit TRL on MTV, but it is pretty cool for a small town Missouri boy!!! Hope and Peace!!

The Much Anticipated!!

I GOT IT!!! I will start working with the Greg Oliver Agency as of April 18th!! Check out previous posts.....this is the job that I have been praying and waiting for for about 3 weeks!! God has been, is, and always will be the most INCREDIBLE!! Hope and Peace!!
