Hit Me With Your Best Shot!

So today I got to go to the dentist once again. The Doc confirmed last Thursday that I had a cavity!! YES!!! How exciting......... So today, I got to take my lunch break reclining while the Doc had both hands in my mouth saying, "so, what do you think about this hurricane!" I think my answer was "mmmhhhhffffmmlll". Anyways......that's all that's going on in my life!! Hope and Peace!

Ashamed Where I Stood

So yesterday I got the priviledge of attending the one and only US concert date for one of worship musics most exciting groups.....HILLSONG UNITED!! United travels all over the world doing shows and youth conferences.....but only visited the USofA once....yesterday at Rocketown, Nashville, TN!! They sold out 2 shows. Youth Pastors -- if you haven't picked up every copy of every cd/dvd this group has put out....do it NOW! The songs they are writing and playing are on the cutting edge of youth worship music today.
While standing there, amazed by the musicianship and worship that I was a part of, I couldn't help but notice this student that was standing to the right, caddy-corner from me! Talk about undignified worship....this kid was swaying front to back....off beat...unrhythmically (if that's a word, this kid was it!)....hands raised.....simply giving what he could! I was speechless. Here I am...standing in the back, trying to look all professional in my "worship" as I stood with my co-workers....try to be very conservatively worshipful....and frankly, just being entertained. He never stopped, the whole concert, one rhythm which was off....relentless. I have never seen someone so in love that he counted the glances of those around him for nothing. How awesome it would be to for once, just forget about myself and my image and just let go and truly praise God with all I am. Thank you random kid at Hillsong United concert for kicking me in the face! Hope and Peace!!
