Me, Myself, and I

If you've ever limited God because of yourself, check out my new poll. Somehow we have come to the conclusion that we as humans need to try and live, work, provide, love, share, build, grow, etc. for ourselves. We have decided that if we can do it, no one can. We have decided that because we don't have the money, resources, contacts, fame, know-how, etc. we can't or won't do something. When did we/I forget the book of Genesis and the creation of man. God made you/me in HIS IMAGE!! And after we decided to take His image and pervert it, He sent His Son to make us pure again. Now we have a Perfect Savior, a Perfect Guide, and a Perfect God....and somehow that's not good enough? WOW....how selfish have we become........I'm still chewing on this....and my own excuses and limitations are making me want to puck. God....be my LORD!!! Hope and Peace.....

When I look at the STARRRRS!!

Sorry it has been so long since you've heard from.....Let me catch you up: A couple weekends ago, Jayme and I visit the booming metropolis of Unionville, MO (my hometown). It was Jayme's first visit to the farm and the slower culture of northern MO! I have added some pictures of us on the town square celebrating the 150th anniversay of the town of Unionville. Also, September means Putnam County Fair time. We spent Saturday getting our puppies ready to be sold. So there is a picture of Jayme washing some of the puppies. We visited many friends from the church and spent a lot of time just relaxing. The weather was amazing, so we spent a lot of time just sitting outside. I miss my U-ville life, when everything was slow, easy, and made scence! N-ville is hurried....everybody has some place to be and it is never where they are. I'm always rushing to work, or to Jayme's, or to church, or to a showcase, or concert, or...blahblahblah....It was amazing to spend the weekend with nothing to do and nowhere to go!! Oh yeah....and you have never seen stars until you go outside in-the-middle-of-no-where Missouri and look up. God, you are breathe-taking!!
Life is still plugging along. We are getting closer and closer to November 19th!! But for some reason, we aren't there yet!! We have decided to go to Aruba for our honeymoon...thank you to all those who participated in the poll. I am working on another poll...it should be up shortly. Tuesday night, I participated in a showcase with Kimber Manning. It went well, even better than we thought. God provided the right people to be in the audience, even though there weren't many. We'll see what direction God pulls us in now!! Other than that, things are great. Switchfoot's new cd came out Tuesday.....if you haven't went out and sold your car in order to buy the cd, you need to....now....what are you waiting for!! It's called "Nothing Is Sound"...and it is amazing. Once again, Switchfoot allows us to enjoy good music!! Well....my boss is back from lunch...I better get back to work....KIDDING!! Hope and Peace!!
