4 Part Harmony: June 2006

Wow.....it has been too long. Where do I begin to try and catch you up on what's happening in N-ville!! I have been checking other blogs though....and everyone has been off for a while. It's good to know I'm not the only one that's crazy busy with life these days!

Jayme and I were able to attend CCCB's graduation back in May. The 3DU reunion show was also that weekend. If you were there, I apologize for sucking as a person. I was fired from being a person because I'm no good at it! Jayme and I missed our flight and were not able to make it for the concert.....tear. I have never seen that many people in the N-ville airport, let along all in one line for security. Next time I will listen to my wife and just pushed to the front of the line....once again, I apologize! But luckily, Ryan was there and incredibly talented enough to step in for me on bass. Trust me, it sounded better with him anyway!! Often times his skill and talents in playing music make me sick!! Love you man! Other than that, the weekend was fairly uneventful. I was able to see my little brother Kyle graduate and move on from his college career. Then had the huge privilege of playing music with him not only all day Saturday, but for Sunday morning as well. All day Saturday was spent with Matt, Nathan, Monte, and Kyle practicing for NYR. The songs this year are incredible! It will be totally different since Monte won't be there....but I'm crazy excited to be on stage with my brother! My parents won't know what to do with themselves! HA!

Since then it has been crazy busy here. If you read the last post, you noticed that Jayme and I got out of our contract for our house project! So we have been on the prowl for another house. HOUSE SHOPPING IS THE DEVIL! So time-consuming, stressful, and it gets old real quickly. But we have found one, and should be closing on it the day we return from NYR, Aug. 4th!! We are pumped! Once we are moved in, give me a call and come visit! We will have a spare room now!! Actual space to have company.....
