Jam tour....one down....9 to go!

This last weekend was the first weekend for Winter Jam. I am working as the merchandise manager for the tour......meaning, I'm in charge of making sure all the merch gets set up in the right place.....also, I am in charge of setting up the merch for Newsong and WinterJam. Sure it sounds cool.....but WOW was it a busy weekend. Each day starts at aroun 8:30 a.m. and is non-stop until about 1:30a.m. (if I'm lucky). It's a good thing these runs are only 3-4 days long, cause my body was saying no by the time Sunday night rolled around. All in all it was a good weekend. The shows were all 3 sold-out and I'm getting to meet some incredible people. Without question, Steven Curtis Chapman's set is the highlight of every night for me. It's amazing to be working with such a huge hero of mine!!!!! Check out his son's band, The Following @ www.myspace.com/thefollowing. Hope and peace!

I know it's late but..........

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

Gone clubbin'

Just to quickly catch you up to where we are and what we are doing:

Since the end of November I've been traveling with Newsong as their road/merch manager. We did a 15 city Christmas tour, 5 conferences inbetween Christmas and New Year's day, and are about to imbark on a 33 city tour with Steven Curtis Chapman, Jeremy Camp, Hawk Nelson, Sanctus Real and Britt Nicole. The tour is the Winter Jam Tour. Last year it became one of the largest Christian tours ever, and they are expecting bigger this year. I'm the merchandise manager and will be crazy busy each weekend of this tour. Luckily we are only traveling on the weekends, so I won't be away too much from Jayme! Check out the tour at www.jamtour.com. We are making stops all over, so check the calendar and come to one of the shows. I would get you in free, but it's only $10 at the door and we aren't allowed any free passes. But I would love to see you and you would love to see the show!!!!

One of the bad things about touring with Newsong is that they travel on the weekends, so when my baby is off work, I'm gone, but when I'm off work, she's gone to work......see the frustration! Also, it keeps me away from Lakeshore. I was able to attend this last Sunday and it just made me miss it all the more. I'm out on the road doing the Lord's work, but there is NOTHING that can replace the community that you can find in the local church. Especially Lakeshore! But I know that God is moving through this job somehow, I just have to be patient and seek His guidance. If you have any other job suggestions.....let me know!! Hope and peace!
